About Dr. Shanta
The Heart Behind SDR Leadership Coaching
I am Shanta, founder of SDR Leadership Coaching, a division of SmartWhiz Solutions LLC, and a Transformational Leadership Coach who believes leadership is more than strategy. It is about alignment, clarity, and the courage to lead from who you truly are. Real leadership begins with identity.
That realization led me to create SDR Leadership Coaching™, where I support purpose-driven leaders in aligning who they are with how they lead. Through my work, I blend systems thinking with deep reflection to help leaders build clarity, strengthen their voice, and create sustainable impact.
My professional journey has taken me from classrooms to executive leadership, serving as an Assistant Superintendent, Federal Programs Director, and instructional leader focused on systems, literacy, and equity. Along the way I designed and led initiatives that strengthened schools and organizations, developed leaders, and improved outcomes for the people who mattered most.
I am the creator of the T.E.D.D. Model of Leadership© and the Essence to Impact™ framework, designed to move leaders from internal alignment to organizational transformation. This work is not about quick fixes. It is about developing leaders who can think strategically, lead authentically, and build systems that outlast them.
At the core of everything I do is a simple truth: Someone needs who you are becoming.
And my work is to help you step fully into that leader.
